Judith Arnell Jewelers specializes in fine, unheated, untreated natural sapphires and rare gemstones including fancy color diamonds. In addition to our in-house gemstone collection, we are able to procure diamonds and colored gemstones of any desired characteristics from around the world. About Judith Arnell
Judith Arnell is a luxury jewelry designer and sapphire expert based in Portland, Oregon. Since 1972, Judith has created one-of-a-kind jewelry and heirloom pieces for clients across the US. She developed her expertise in gemology at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), then apprenticed with French master jeweler Roger Coudert. Soon after opening her flagship store in Chicago, she co-founded the midwest chapter of the Women's Jewelers Association.
With an aesthetic based on classic European designs, Judith approaches each client design as a celebration of cherished relationships and precious beauty. She works individually with clients to make designs come to life with the finest possible materials, balancing quality and style. Translating client visions into meticulous, artisanal craftsmanship, Judith creates every custom piece to be an "exceptional work of wearable art" which can be worn for generations.
In addition to operating her Portland and Chicago studios, Judith is an active supporter of philanthropic causes. She was the former Chair on the Board of Trustees at the Legacy Emanuel Medical Center Foundation, and served on the Executive Committee at the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
